This session will feature presentations on the climate budgeting processes undertaken in New York and Mumbai, led by Peter Mattingly and @Mallory R. @(New York City Mayor’s Office of Management and Budget), and @Avni Agarwal (Cities Program, WRI India) respectively. The session will unpack how municipal funds can be leveraged to mainstream and deliver NbS at scale.

• City officials looking after financial planning and budget allocations for projects and programmatic initiatives
• Urban planners, architects and urbanists working with cities to support with budget planning and preparation, tapping into alternate sources of financing for projects
