This is a preliminary report prepared by The Nature Conservancy and partners for the city of Chennai to help shape the city’s urban growth through a greenprint. The greenprint was developed to inform the master planning process for Chennai and help in preparing a spatial plan which integrates wetlands and urban forests along with conserving watersheds and river basins. This report was launched as part of COP27 in November 2022.
