C-Cube NIUA (C-Cube NIUA)

The Climate Centre for Cities (C-Cube) has been established at NIUA to create synergy across all climate actions which are being undertaken in Indian cities by various stakeholders. The Centre will work with a range of stakeholders and partners to focus on strengthening capacities of cities to understand, implement and monitor and actions needed for addressing climate change impacts in their locally. In the context of India’s complex urban challenges and in addition to increasing climate risks, sustained actions will ensure cities are prepared for and can develop the ability to thrive in a varying climate is crucial. The need for incorporating climate action within existing and future investments towards physical, social and environmental services is paramount to ensure sustainable development.
