The webinar organised by NIUA was the 4th under Sustainable Urban Development – Smart Cities -II webinar series as part of setting up the Communities of Practice (CoP) under this project. The focus of the webinar was on leveraging nature-based solutions (NBS) to enhance urban resilience in Indian cities by examining practical implementation strategies, policy frameworks, and real-life case studies. The key takeaways from the webinar emphasized on the need for community engagement, and using NbS as a strategy with multiple benefits that enhances resilience, improves air and water quality reduces the effects of urban heating and enhances overall liveability.
